If you are interested in ensuring a safe work environment, but lack the knowledge and skills to do so, this is the course for you. If you have been a Safety Representative, Safety Supervisor, or been involved in managing Work Health and Safety, and can provide evidence of your current competencies, you could gain credit status towards this qualification. Part of GEM’s Mission is “to help make the world a safer place to work” – if you want to be involved in that challenge, this is the course for you. * Subsidies: Employers and Individuals eligible for subsidised training via industry tendering processes benefit from discounted group training. * Recognition: Individuals who have had significant experience in a given industry, in managing projects, or being members of a Project Team could be eligible for Recognition of Current Competencies, or Recognition of Prior Learning. This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs. Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support. To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency. COURSE DETAILS / ENQUIRE
