This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to manage personal professional performance, and to take responsibility for professional development in relation to the provision of training and/or assessment services. It applies to those who work under limited supervision using a range of management skills and are involved directly, or indirectly, in the provision of training and assessment services in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). The unit applies to individuals who operate with a high level of autonomy, have excellent communication skills and apply knowledge of organisational policies and relevant legislation.
